About this template
Undated, on purpose. Twelve month grids, six week sheets, thirty one day pages and a year page, with no year, no day numbers and no weekday printed anywhere. You type the dates in, so the calendar you start this month still works next year and the year after.
That matters more in OneNote than anywhere else. A dated PDF that runs out costs you a download. A dated OneNote notebook that runs out costs you a year of your own typing, because next year’s notebook cannot be merged into the one you have been writing in. An undated one never needs replacing.
The 58 pages
- Month. January to December, each an empty seven by six grid with room to write in every cell, closing with How the month went.
- Week. Six week sheets, planned on Monday and closed on Friday with How the week went. Six, because no month touches more than six weeks.
- Day. Day 01 to Day 31, one blank page per date that you rename to the day.
- Year. The twelve months on one page, a register you keep.
- Key dates. Birthdays, renewals and deadlines, typed once.
- Tasks and Done. Everything open, with the page it came from, and where it goes when it is finished.
A Contents page and a tag system tie it together, every day, week and month is one click from the others, and a six page sticker set keeps a page you have changed matching the rest.
Honest about what it is not
Nothing in it calculates, counts or notices that a date has passed. OneNote has no formulas, so the Year page is a register you keep rather than a summary of the months under it. It is not linked to Outlook or any calendar app and it sends no reminders: it is a calendar you plan on, not one that alerts you.
The notebook package installs in OneNote for Windows. Once it is installed and saved to OneDrive it opens and syncs on Mac, iPad, Android, phone and the web, but it cannot be installed from an iPad or a Mac on its own. The download also carries a full PDF copy of every page and an install guide. One purchase, no subscription.
The rest of the OneNote line
We make six OneNote notebooks, each built for one job, and they sit side by side in the same notebook stack:
- OneNote project management template: projects, the kanban board and the registers behind them.
- OneNote CRM template: clients, deals and renewals.
- OneNote meeting notes template: agendas, decisions and actions.
- OneNote dashboard template: a one-page view of where everything stands.
- Kindle Scribe OneNote template: notes exported from a Kindle Scribe.
This one also comes in OneNote Templates for Work, together with the project management, CRM, meeting notes and dashboard templates: five notebooks for less than buying them one at a time.
OneNote templates land as a ready-made notebook. Every section, every page, every hyperlink already built. Import once, then it syncs everywhere OneNote runs: Windows, Mac, web, and mobile.
