What goes on an invoice, and what this one does.

An invoice needs a unique number, the date, who it is from and to, what was supplied with a price for each line, any tax, and the total due. Everything above covers that. The number counts up on its own after each download, so two invoices never share one.

The PDF is text, not a picture, so your client can search it and copy figures out of it. The .xlsx keeps its totals as live formulas: change a quantity in Excel or Google Sheets and the total follows.

Tax rules differ by country. If you are registered for VAT or GST, your invoice may need your registration number and the tax shown per line; put the number in your details and check with your accountant for the rest.
