What Happened to Airbnb Calendar Private Notes?

Previously, Airbnb allowed hosts to click on any date and add a private note — a helpful tool for tracking cleanings, guest requests, or personal reminders. But with the Summer 2025 redesign, this feature is hidden or removed when you’re using the Professional Hosting Tools interface.

Instead, Airbnb moved “Private Notes” into the new Today tab, where they can only be added to confirmed reservations — not empty calendar days. This makes it impossible to add pre-arrival notes, cleaning reminders, or hold blocks directly to the calendar unless you disable Pro Tools.
