When reMarkable Black Friday 2026 starts

reMarkable Black Friday 2026 has no date yet, because reMarkable has not announced one. What we can pin down is the calendar around it: Thanksgiving falls on Thursday 26 November 2026, Black Friday on Friday 27 November and Cyber Monday on 30 November. Anything you read that quotes a 2026 reMarkable discount today is a guess, and we say so where we guess too.

Last year is a better guide than any rumour, and it is on the record. reMarkable sells direct from its own store, and that store’s archived pages show the 2025 sale was scheduled well ahead of the day itself. The Paper Pro page was set to carry a Black Friday banner from 17 November 2025, the reMarkable 2 page from 18 November, the homepage from 20 November, and the refurbished shop from 25 November. Everything was switched off by 3 December. If 2026 follows the same rhythm, the offers appear in the week before Thanksgiving and run through Cyber Monday into the first days of December.

We will rewrite this page the day reMarkable publishes its 2026 offers, with the real figures read off its store.

What reMarkable actually cut on Black Friday 2025

The short version: reMarkable did not cut the price of a tablet. It discounted bundles. The homepage on 1 December 2025 read “It’s Black Friday” over the line “Your chance to save on new and refurbished bundles”, and the product pages carried the same framing. The archived reMarkable 2 page from 25 November 2025 stores the discount itself: $70 off, shown to US visitors as “Save $70 on reMarkable 2 with our Black Friday bundle”. The German store ran the same idea in euros, with a banner promising savings of up to 70 euros.

The Paper Pro had its own Black Friday bundle offer, with banner copy in the same “Save … on reMarkable Paper Pro with our Black Friday bundle” form. What none of the archived captures records is the Paper Pro dollar figure, so we do not quote one. If you saw it at the time and kept the receipt or a screenshot, tell us in the comments on our reMarkable hub; it would make the next version of this page better than every roundup that guesses.

That shape matters more than the number. A bundle discount only saves you money on things you were going to buy: a folio, a Type Folio, a Marker Plus. If you want the tablet with the Marker it ships with and nothing else, a bundle offer may not touch your price at all.

Amazon has cut its writing Kindles by 20 to 25 percent at past events, which we tracked on our Kindle Scribe Prime Day page. reMarkable sells mostly through its own store and protects the tablet price; the discount lives in the accessories around it.

The lineup

What every reMarkable costs today

These are the numbers a Black Friday offer would be cut from. Each was read off reMarkable’s own store on 15 October 2026, not off a roundup. The lineup has changed since last November: the reMarkable 2 that carried the $70 offer is no longer sold new in the store, and its product page now points to the three current tablets.

Some quick arithmetic shows what a repeat of last year would be worth, and it is only arithmetic, not a forecast. A flat $70 off the $799 Paper Pro Book Folio bundle is about 9 percent. The same $70 against the $549 Move bundle is about 13 percent. Against the $399 Paper Pure with nothing added, a bundle offer may save nothing, because there is no bundle in the cart for it to apply to.

The decision

Should you wait for the reMarkable Black Friday sale?

It depends on what is in your basket, and the answer is simpler than the deal sites make it.

Wait if you were going to buy a folio, a Type Folio or the Marker Plus with the tablet. That is exactly what last year’s offer discounted, and six weeks is a short wait for a cut on the most expensive part of a bundle. Do not wait if you want the bare tablet with the standard Marker, because the 2025 sale gave that buyer nothing documented. And if a reMarkable is a gift, note the window: last year’s offers had ended by 3 December.

A bundle discount only saves you money on things you were going to buy.The rule for this sale

Buying now does not lock you out entirely. reMarkable’s product pages offer a 50-day satisfaction guarantee, with returns accepted within 50 days of delivery, so a tablet bought in mid-October is still returnable when Black Friday arrives. Whether returning one to rebuy at a sale price is worth the hassle is your call; it is an option, not a strategy we would build on.

Short sales reward people who decided before the banner went up. Pick the tablet now, then pick the bundle you would buy at full price, then write down its price today from the ladder above. When the reMarkable Black Friday banner appears, the only question left is whether the saving on that exact bundle is worth it to you. Buying from reMarkable’s own store keeps the 50-day guarantee on its product pages in play.

The other piece of prep costs nothing: have the tablet’s job ready before it arrives. A paper tablet bought on a deal and left as a blank notebook is how these devices end up in a drawer by February.
