You ask, we build it. Missing a template? Request it in the Hall and back what we build next.
№ 00 · About the studio

Fewer things,
made properly.

Templacity is a small studio that designs quiet, well-built templates for tablets, spreadsheets and paper: for planners, hosts, readers, and home keepers. We publish slowly, on purpose.

The studio desk in morning light: an e-ink tablet with a half-drawn weekly grid, printed proofs, a ruler, and a cup of coffee on oak.
№ 01 · Beginnings

It started with one bad planner.

We bought a reMarkable and went looking for a weekly planner that respected the screen. What we found were PDFs ported from print: tap zones in the wrong places, margins that fought the pen, contrast tuned for paper, not e-ink. So we drew our own.

We’d rather make one template that fits a life than forty that fill a store.

We’re still small, and we mean to stay that way.

№ 02 · How a template gets made

Slow is the whole method.

i.

We tune it to one screen.

Hit zones, pen feel, margins, contrast, all set for the exact device generation. Nothing is ported; everything is drawn to fit.

ii.

Then we keep it.

When a reader reports a broken file, we fix it, and the corrected file is a free re-download from your account.

№ 03 · What we stand for

Two things we won’t trade away.

i.

Taste over volume.

We’d rather publish one template that fits a life than forty that fill a store.

ii.

Real customer care.

A broken file fixed or replaced within a working day.

№ 04 · How we review

How we review.

Templacity is a working template studio first and a publication second. We build planner systems that have to render correctly on real e-ink screens, so device quirks (refresh behavior, pen latency, file handling, screen geometry) are problems we deal with in production, not specs we read about.

i.

Specs come from the source.

Hardware claims trace to manufacturer spec sheets and firmware changelogs, not to other roundups.

ii.

Community reality checks.

Where owners consistently report something the spec sheet hides, we say it and point to where the discussion lives.

iii.

Disclosed incentive, no rented opinions.

We earn money selling our own template bundles, never from device makers. A verdict that steers you wrong would cost us customers who bought templates for the wrong device.

Questions about a verdict or spotted an error? Tell us at [email protected] and we will check it against the sources.

Made for your desk,
not our store.

Browse the library, or read a few notes from the studio. We write when there is something worth sending: a new template, or a device change that affects the files you own.
