Affiliates Policy

Templacity’s Affiliate Program offers eligible affiliates — including blogs, newsletters, and third-party websites (“Affiliates”) — the opportunity to earn commissions on qualifying sales generated through tracked referral links. This Affiliate Policy outlines the terms, rights, and responsibilities that govern participation in the Templacity Affiliate Program. By joining, you agree to comply with the terms set forth below, as updated periodically by Templacity.

Eligibility and Participation

Participation in the program is subject to approval by Templacity. We reserve the right to assess whether an affiliate’s site, audience, and content align with our standards. Content must be appropriate, relevant, and of sufficient quality, as determined at Templacity’s sole discretion.

Templacity may remove an affiliate at any time without prior notice, especially if we determine the content misrepresents our brand, violates applicable laws, or is otherwise inconsistent with our values.

Commission Structure

  • Commission Rate: Standard 20% on qualifying sales

  • Cookie Duration: 30 days

  • Payouts: Calculated on product subtotal only (excluding taxes, shipping)

Commissions are not paid on refunded, canceled, or chargeback-related transactions. All commissions are subject to verification and may be withheld in cases of suspected fraud or violation of this policy.

Affiliates are solely responsible for any taxes related to commission payments.

Commission Threshold & Payout Timing

Commissions are processed monthly and paid once the affiliate account reaches a minimum balance of $20. Payouts are typically issued within 30 days after the close of each calendar month.

Use of Affiliate Links and Assets

Affiliates may use banners, links, and creatives provided through the affiliate platform. All creatives must be used as-is unless otherwise authorized. Templacity may update or retire assets at any time, and affiliates must promptly comply with any request to modify or remove outdated materials.

Affiliate links may be promoted via websites, newsletters, or other approved channels. Unauthorized promotion methods, such as spam, are grounds for removal.

Coupon Code Policy

Only official Templacity-issued coupon codes may be promoted. Affiliates must:

  • Clearly display expiration dates

  • Remove or label expired codes as such

  • Keep pre-launch codes confidential until approved for public use

Misuse of coupon codes, including early publication or mislabeling, may result in suspension from the program.

Paid Search Restrictions

To protect the brand’s integrity, affiliates may not:

  • Bid on branded keywords, including “Templacity” or variations/misspellings

  • Use Templacity trademarks in ad copy, URLs, or PPC campaigns

  • Use templacity.com as a display URL

  • Engage in redirect schemes or misleading domain behavior

  • Run ads with affiliate links on social platforms (e.g., Facebook, TikTok)

  • Use Templacity branding in any way that suggests official partnership

  • Manipulate SEO to redirect organic traffic away from Templacity

Any violations of these guidelines may result in permanent removal and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

Intellectual Property Compliance

Affiliates may not infringe upon any third-party copyrights, trademarks, patents, or rights of publicity. Templacity cannot mediate IP claims or provide legal advice.

If we receive a valid takedown notice regarding affiliate content, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts and withhold pending payments at our discretion.

Audits and Enforcement

Templacity reserves the right to audit affiliate activities at any time. If violations or suspicious behavior are identified, we may:

  • Issue a warning

  • Initiate an internal investigation

  • Suspend your account

  • Terminate your account

  • Withhold commissions

We take program integrity seriously and will act to protect our platform and brand.

Email and Newsletter Use

Affiliates may promote their links via email or newsletters, provided all local laws are followed (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR). You may not send unsolicited email or mislead users.

Communications & Affiliate Newsletter

Upon approval, affiliates are subscribed to our affiliate newsletter. It includes updates, marketplace insights, creative opportunities, and seasonal promotions. If you do not receive confirmation within two weeks of approval, please reach out to [contact@templacity.com].

Required Disclosures

Affiliates are responsible for understanding and complying with any advertising disclosure laws that apply in their region. In the U.S., this includes FTC regulations requiring affiliates to clearly disclose relationships with brands in any sponsored content.

Templacity does not offer legal advice. Affiliates are encouraged to seek guidance if unsure of applicable obligations.

Program Changes

Templacity may modify, suspend, or terminate the Affiliate Program at any time. We may also update this policy periodically, and continued participation constitutes agreement to the latest version.

Prohibited Content and Behavior

You could add a section explicitly stating what types of content or affiliate behavior are not allowed, such as:

  • Promotion on adult, gambling, hate speech, or extremist sites

  • Use of fake reviews, misleading testimonials, or deceptive claims about Templacity products

  • Impersonating Templacity staff or misrepresenting the relationship with Templacity

  • Creating Templacity-branded social media accounts or domains

Self-Referrals and Abuse

Affiliates may not use their own affiliate links to purchase Templacity products (“self-referrals”). Any commissions generated through self-referrals or affiliate stacking will be voided and may result in termination from the program.

Termination Clause

Either party may terminate participation in the Affiliate Program at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, all rights granted under this policy will immediately cease, and outstanding unpaid commissions may be withheld if policy violations are involved.

Limitation of Liability

Templacity is not responsible for lost tracking, incorrect commission calculations due to technical issues, or delays due to platform downtime. Participation in the program is at the affiliate’s own risk.

Governing Law / Jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed by the laws of the United States, and any disputes arising out of this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Wyoming.
